Built a phosphorylation site detection database using Django.
The data of interest was first collected from various genetic databases via FTP.
The collected data was processed using Python scripts, and finally stored in a MySQL database.
The data could be accessed by users via the Django webserver.
The website included a search tool, and various integrated bioinformatic tools (‘HMMER’)
that was used to obtain information about specific phosphorylation sites.
